The case arose from an incident which occurred on 23rd March, 2022, at Oye-Ekiti, involving the alleged abduction of one Atama Emmanuel from his barbing salon. Following the incident, a report was made to the police by Inioluwa Glory Moses, the victim’s fiancée. Following their arrest, statements were obtained from the Appellant and his co-accused and other persons arrested at the scene.
