NOTICE OF DISCLAIMER FOR WRONGFUL AND MISLEADING PUBLICATION

LawPavilion’s attention has been drawn to a publication titled “Supreme Court Gives Landmark decisions on Community/Estate Associations Issue.”

LawPavilion wishes to disassociate herself from this false publication for the following reasons:

  1. The said “Landmark Judgment” FAMAKINWA & ORS v. ODOFIN OLOJA ESTATE RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION & ORS (2016) LPELR-41066(SC) referred to in the false report was never published or reported by LawPavilion
  2. The correct case title associated with the said LPELR citation number is OKAFOR V. LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT & ANOR (2016) LPELR-41066(CA), which is a Court of Appeal judgment that is not related to any Community/Estate Development Associations issues but instead borders on Enforcement of Fundamental Rights.

From the foregoing, LawPavilion, as a company geared towards “Accelerating Access to Justice Through Technology,” vehemently disclaims the authenticity of the aforementioned publication. We, therefore, recommend and implore readers and users of the information in the said publication to please stop utilizing its content either by citing it or by referring to it.

Should there be a pronouncement related to the subject matter, it will be made available as soon as possible. We are committed to transparency and accuracy, and we appreciate your understanding as we address this matter.

Please contact us through all our available channels for any further clarification.

Thank you for your continuous trust and patronage.
