Innovating Justice 2016
Are you a justice entrepreneur? Are you thinking of creative ways to make legal access effective and efficient? Do you think you have the right solution that helps tackle challenges that SMEs in Africa face like harsh regulations, insecurity, high levels of taxation, corruption and bureaucratic red-tapes?
HiiL Innovating Justice helps turn the most promising and disruptive ideas into effective innovations by bringing together the best legal experts, cutting-edge technology, and new types of funding.
Last year, the inaugural SME Empowerment Challenge East and West Africa 2015 was organized that brought together the best justice solutions in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya. DIYLaw from Nigeria – an online platform that offers effective, efficient and low cost legal services to small businesses – emerged with the first prize and won 40,000USD seedfunding during
the finals in The Hague. More information can be found on our platform. This year, we want to offer more justice innovators the same opportunity. Therefore we organize an information session to explain more about justice needs and innovation. We also take this opportunity to launch the Innovating Justice Hub, West Africa.
Date: Wednesday March 9th, 2016
Time: 10amLocation: 296, Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba
During the information session you can also meet and engage with our partners LawPavillion, The Law Events and DIYLaw.
